Our Pastor, Greg Blake, has been serving the Lord with us here at the Red House Bible Church since March of 2002. Pastor was saved at the age of eighteen and surrendered to the call to preach soon thereafter. He understood that the call to preach was a call to prepare for the "work of the ministry". This call required that he leave the chemical industry and enroll in Biblical training. So, he and his wife and 2 small sons moved to Beckley, WV where he enrolled at the Appalachian Bible college where he completed his undergraduate studies.
Pastor has served in churches in Beckley, WV while in training, in Nitro, WV after graduation where he was ordained to the gospel ministry, in Huntington, WV and then here at Red House. He also has completed a MBS program at Virginia Beach Theological Seminary.
Pastor preaches expositionally with the understanding that the Word of God is "quick and powerful than any two edged sword" and that the Word of God will also "not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

● We believe the Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the word of God; that it reveals the only true way of salvation; that every true believer is bound to acknowledge and receive it by the help of the Spirit of God as the only rule and guide in faith and practice. We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible, and God-breathed.
● We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, each having the same attributes and perfections.
● We believe the Triune God, by a free act of His will and for His glory, without the use of existing materials or secondary causes, brought into being, immediately and instantaneously, in six literal 24-hour days, the whole visible and invisible universe.
● We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and that man, of himself, is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.
● We believe that salvation is the gift of God, wholly available by grace and received by repentance and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
● We believe in the “Blessed Hope”, the personal, imminent, pre-tribulational Rapture of the Church, Christ coming for His redeemed ones and in His subsequent return to earth, with His saints, to establish His Millennial Kingdom.
● We believe in the bodily resurrection of all mankind: the saved to eternal life and the lost to judgment and everlasting punishment.
